  I volunteered at Shanti Bhavan for two summers and had a truly life-changing experience. It is rare to find a non-profit with such a fantastic, quantifiable track record-- they are truly making a difference and it is quite moving to be part of it. The volunteer experience is also much more supported than other international volunteer opportunities, and offers volunteers actual responsibilities and ability to participate in Shanti Bhavan's awe-inspiring work.
